Mr. Tony Richard has worked with children as an educator since 1991.  Serving as a middle school social science and language arts teacher for the first 11 years in the classroom, he spent the next 12 years working with teachers and students in the administrative realm.  Prior to accepting the position at TVCS, he was the principal for Canyon Springs High School in Caldwell, Idaho.  Three years past he was honored to be recognized as Principal of Year for Region 3 by the Idaho Education Association.

Presently Mr. Richard holds a B.A. in International Relations, B.S. in Social Science, M.S. in Organizational Development, and K-12 administrative credentials for both Idaho and California. He has served his country as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa, and is actively involved in the community with animal rescue.  Overall he is delighted to be involved with the wonderful team of educators, parents, and children that make TVCS a great place to learn.

Born in France to American parents working with the U.S. State Department and the Department of Defense, he has traveled extensively, lived for 17 years overseas and speaks French. Married for 22 years to his wonderful wife, he has one daughter and a menagerie of animals living at home with him who perceive themselves as being human.
